The death of the murderous Jordanian Zarqawi has been announced – not for the first time.
Abu Musab al-Zarqawi gained notoriety in Iraq having taken several Western hostages. His use of photos and video of his victims was cited as particularly barbaric. Media often refused to broadcast these awful pictures and broadcasts which included pleas, killings and bodies of victims.
We can be sure that this time Zarqawi really has been killed as almost every UK newspaper carries a photo of his corpse that the US authorities paraded shortly after the bombing which killed him along with five other people, including spiritual adviser Sheikh Abd-al-Rahman and an unidentified woman and child.
