No entry here for a month. Been up to Scotland a couple of times in the past couple of weeks.
First to Ayr for a job interview. A few days later my gran passed away – in her hundredth year – much of the clan congregated in Caithness. Her sons were joined by a tuba playing minister in a tribute at the kirk in Reay. Saw lots of distant relations but recognised few.
Back in the Wirral, got blood results from my doc and with cholesterol at 7.3 – decided to start a lower fat diet. With duck a favourite food of mine and removing the fat from meat unheard of, it’ll be interesting to see if I can stick with the recomended diet.
