Nothing is worth dying for
Some people would rather
Be dead than Red
But I would simply rather
Not be dead.
I would not die for Britain
Or any land. Why should I ?
I only happened to be born there.
Emigre, banished, why should I defend
A land I never chose, that never wanted me ?
I might have been born anywhere – In Mid – Pacific or in Ecuador.
I would not die for the world.
Jesus was wrong.
Only nothing is worth dying for.
