Cheapskate traveller

Gavin, 16 September 03

Ryanair.Com are running a deal with flights for a penny.

Usually I manage to let these offers pass me by, or find that the deals are on very limited routes and times. Not this time. I have just booked a short break in Dublin, and all inclusive of taxes, fees and charges – the flight costs came to less than 25 GBP. Return.

There are even better deals going further afield, if I’d the chance to plan properly and get down to Stanstead or Luton there would have been more variety of destinations. But I have always fancied seeing Dublin for the craic – shame I’m no longer partial to a Guinness. Now I have to decide how to book accomodation – either the fully fledged budget traveller in a hostel style place – or something a bit more classy.

The offer was due to close at midnight tonight – but has just been extended to Thursday 18th September.
