I’m heading through to Preston soon to JPs – no doubt will see his high spec gaming PC. I am generally satisfied with my current PCs spec, but maybe some of the latest games will encourage me to upgrade. I tend to be impressed by the advances in graphics but at the end of the day, the involvement and gameplay often seems to have been forgotten in the game design.
No game since the original RailRoad Tycoon has really had me hooked. Well not to the extent of playing for hours (looking up to see sunrise had creeped up on an evenings gaming). RailRoad Tycoon ran on an old 8086 fine without any compulsion to spend on new hardware.
